As we here at G2Planet prepare to take a few days off and celebrate Thanksgiving, our thoughts turn to what we are thankful for.
It's an amazing time to be part of the events industry. The economy is strong. The explosion in online content and digital marketing has, paradoxically, increased the craving for and value of live, face to face interaction.
Developments in event technology are enabling event marketers to create remarkable new experiences for attendees while collecting data that supports strategic business objectives.
We're thankful for all of those things. But we're particularly grateful for five groups of people who are at the core of everything we do in the events world.
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to work with some of the largest, most forward-thinking enterprises across the technology, automotive, network marketing, finance, and other sectors.
They challenge us and bring us great opportunities to do our best work. Helping to solve their problems and enabling them to deliver uniquely creative new experiences to their attendees enables us to innovate with purpose.
Technology is a vital component but one of many pieces that go into producing extraordinary events.
We're honored to work side-by-side on behalf of our clients with other amazing companies: event marketing agencies, planners, producers, sound and lighting specialists, software companies, entertainment bookers, speakers bureaus, and more.
Events are the ultimate people business. We're grateful for out relationships with enablers, influencers, and experts across the industry.
We have far too many wonderful connections to name them all, but a few we are particularly thankful for this year are the editors and writers we've had the opportunity to work with at many of the top events industry publications and blogs, as well as all the fantastic people at Creative Event Team.
Most of all, we're thankful for our amazing employees—as it’s within our team that we work towards manifesting our mission, we experience our culture, we achieve our goals, and we connect with and provide value to customers. At the end of the day, for G2Planet, it’s family first…which then enables us to be of maximum worth to our customers and the marketplace.
And of course, we're thankful for you—the readers of G2Blog, whatever role you play in this dynamic industry. We do our best to keep you on the leading edge of what's happening in the enterprise events space: the latest research, trends, best practices, and technology. Best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving.
