Citrix hosts Synergy annually to bring together their global community of customers, prospective customers, partners and industry thought leaders to share ideas, network, engage in business and technical training, and learn about new Citrix products. This year’s Synergy, held in Las Vegas, attracted over 5,000 attendees from all over the world.
Synergy 2016 Highlights
After some recent pivots in corporate strategy and changes in executive leadership, Synergy was the perfect opportunity for Citrix to unveil a host of new solutions, as well as a new corporate design theme. With a focus on digital business transformation, CEO Kirill Tatarinov emphasized Citrix’s evolution from a product-centric business to a platform, integration and services organization, delivered from the cloud.
From a marketing perspective, Citrix harnessed the power of a live experience and congregation of their clients to launch a new corporate design theme part-way through Synergy, with impact and importance. The launch included a seamless transition of its existing IT infrastructure, marketing collateral, and on-site branding. G2Planet’s technology was an important tool Citrix used to reveal its new look and feel. G2Planet’s EventMAX event production platform also powered Synergy’s command center, reporting, registration, networking, check-in, badging, digital signage, gift pick-up, session scanning, surveys, sponsor/exhibitor coordination, mobile apps, agenda builder, hotel room management, and more.
