20 More Top Event Industry Influencers to Follow

read time

As noted in a previous post here, 29 Top Event Industry Influencers to Follow, the event industry attracts a special breed of people. Success as an event professional requires one to be imaginative yet practical, strategic but also detail-oriented. You have to love being around people, but also comfortable working with data (or at least working with people who work with data—and speaking their language).

The best events are memorable for attendees and valuable for the organizer, with a minimal number of figurative fires to fight (and hopefully no literal ones!). It's not an easy job.

The people who become influencers possess not only those skills but also exceptional abilities to connect, explain, and inspire. They don't merely spot trends but shape them.  And they consistently develop content that gets consumed, used, and shared by event professionals.
